The objectives of ADP (Computer Science) program are to:
1. Foster theoretical and practical Computer Science fundamentals.
2. Enhance programming skills across multiple languages, tools, paradigms, and technologies.
3. Develop analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Enable technical expertise for valuable contributions in the software industry.
5. Provide a blend of knowledge, hands-on experience, and theory application to information issues.
6. Empower students with computer-aided analysis/design technology utility.
The candidates with AD Computing Degrees are eligible for admission in 5 th Semester of BS Computing Programs. Such students shall complete the deficiency courses of General Education (if any) during 5th to 8th Semester.
Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate/12 years schooling/A- Level (HSSC) or Equivalent
with Mathematics are required for admission in Associate Degree Computing.
The students who have not studied Mathematics at intermediate level have to pass
deficiency courses of Mathematics (06 credits) in first two semesters.
The minimum duration for completion of a AD-CS degree is two years
To become eligible for the award of AD-CS degree, a student must satisfy the following requirements:
1) A minimum 2.0 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) on a scale of 4.0 is required
for award of AD Computing degree..
2) The candidates with AD Computing Degrees are eligible for admission in 5 th Semester of
BS Computing Programs. Such students shall complete the deficiency courses of General
Education (if any) during 5th to 8th Semester.
