ADP - Artificial Intelligence

The Associate Degree in Artificial Intelligence (BSAI) is a modern undergraduate program that equips students with essential knowledge and practical skills in computer science, mathematics, and data science, along with specialized training in AI fields like machine learning, robotics, and natural language processing. Focused on innovation, ethics, and real-world applications, the program prepares graduates to develop and implement AI solutions across various industries, including healthcare, finance, and education.

Program Mission

The mission of the Associate Degree in AI program is to produce competent and ethical professionals with strong skills in computing and problem-solving, enabling them to develop intelligent systems, contribute to research, and address global challenges while promoting critical thinking, lifelong learning, and societal impact.

Programs Objectives

The objectives of Associate Degree in AI are to:

Program Outcomes

On completion of the program the student shall be able to:

  • Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate/12 years schooling/A- Level (HSSC) or Equivalent with Mathematics is required for admission in all Associate Degree in Computing other than BS Computing Engineering.
    • *Equivalency certificate by IBCC will be required.
  • The students who have not studied Mathematics at Intermediate level have to pass deficiency courses of Mathematics (06 credits) in first two semesters.

The minimum duration for completion of Associate degree is two (2) years and a maximum period of three (3) years to complete Associate degree requirements.

To become eligible for award of Associate degree in AI, a student must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Minimum 71 credit hours are required for award of Associate degree in any Computing discipline mentioned in this document.
  • Minimum 0 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) on a scale of 4.0 is required for award of Associate Degree in AI.
  • Entry Provision:
    • Students may join the 5th semester of the BS Artificial Intelligence (4-year) program if they have completed at least 60 credit hours or hold conventional degrees with a minimum of 45%, subject to completing deficiency courses through a bridging semester and approval by the admission committee.
