ADP - Accounting & Finance

The objectives of AD – Accounting & Finance are to:

  1. Develop analytical skills by applying business analysis, accounting, data management, and diagnostic problem-solving techniques in order to support management and decision-making.

  2. Enable students to understand accounting concepts, terms, and theories to prepare them for jobs in the fields of Accounting & Finance.

  3. Enable students to apply appropriate quantitative and qualitative methodologies to analyze problems in a competitive financial market.

  4. Prepare students to conduct themselves as responsible citizens with an awareness of ethical and social issues.

Intermediate or equivalent degree as determined by HEC/IMS rules. Minimum 45% are mandatory for admission in Associate Degree in Accounting & Finance.

The minimum duration is 2 years (4 semesters) and maximum duration is 3 years.

  • Degree requirement is CGPA 2.00 and 70 credit hours.
  • ENTRY Option
    • Students may join the 5th semester of the BS Accounting & Finance (4-year) program if they have completed at least 60 credit hours or hold conventional degrees with a minimum of 45%, subject to completing deficiency courses through a bridging semester and approval by the Admission Committee.
  • Normal work load per semester is 18 credit hours.
  • A student taking normal course load can complete the program in 4 semesters (2 years)
  • The maximum time allowed to complete Associate degree is three academic years.
