IMS Scholarships

IMS Scholarships are offer at the time of admission. Our awards are based on the academic performance during a semester but multiple scholarships are not awarded at a time, Student can avail only one scholarship.

1. Merit Scholarships

Developing the human resource to contribute positively towards society is what IMS aims at. Merit-based scholarships are granted to those bright students who are best able to achieve that aim. These scholarships are awarded according to the performance of applicants at Intermediate level.

*Continuation of Merit scholarships in subsequent semesters is subject to maintenance of CGPA not less than 2.50.

Merit Scholarship for students applying for Bachelors

a) Scholarship on the basis of Intermediate

80% or above marks in BISE Examination: 50% tuition fee waiver
75%-79.99% marks in BISE Examination: 25% tuition fee waiver

b) Scholarship on the basis of A-levels

Three As in A-Level: 50% tuition fee waiver
Two As in A-Level: 25% tuition fee waiver

c) Merit Scholarship policy for Diploma holder students

80%- above marks in Board Examination: 25% tuition fee waiver

Merit Scholarship for students applying for Masters/MS/M.Phil degree with 4 Year BS Degree from Recognized DAI/Universities)

*However, if the CGPA and percentage, are mentioned on the degree, the university shall consider the CGPA, while processing the scholarship.

*The Doctoral Dissertation and Research Thesis fee shall be charged in full from all M.Phil and PhD students

IMS merit scholarships are awarded to registered students based on their academic performance who meet the following:

The scholarship is awarded in the shape of fee reduction calculated on the basis of credit hours taken by a student in the previous semester.

Note:

Minimum CGPA for continuation of scholarship will be 2.50 for graduate and 3.0 for post-graduate programs.
At a time, student can avail only one scholarship (either Merit Scholarship or Financial Aid).
In case of migration to any other university, student will have to pay the complete amount of scholarship to IMS (Pak-AIMS) at the time of clearance that he/she availed in his/her academic tenure.
Institute has the right to discontinue or revoke the scholarship on the basis of discipline, academics and other performance parameters.
The policy document is subject to changes/amendments from time to time depending upon the future requirements and status of funds available for the grant of scholarship.

2. Alumni Policy

This reflects the significance that IMS attaches to its alumni, while upholding and promoting the core value of the Institute.

There will be no admission fee for the alumni but an amount of Rs 10,000 (non-refundable) will be charged from Alumni as Registration Fee.

Policy for Alumni for Master/MS/MPhil

The minimum CGPA requirement for the continuation of scholarship is 3.00 for Masters & 3.25 for MS/MPhil programs.

3. Kinship Policy

The Kin of Alumni and existing participants (brother, sister, husband, wife, father, mother, son and daughter) are allowed tuition fee waiver as given below:

4. Female Admission Discount

Note:
1. Discount will be given as 25% in all semesters.
2. After 1st semester, the student can avail Merit Scholar/Financial Aid as per IMS policy.

5. Corporate Group Discount

30% waiver in tuition fee of each student for organizations nominating minimum three candidates.

4. Scholarships for FATA and Tribal Areas & Minorities

25% waiver of tuition fee for the students (in 1^st semester only) from FATA/Tribal Areas & Minorities

Note: Minimum CGPA for continuation of scholarship will be 2.50 for graduate and 3.0 for post-graduate programs.

5. Outstanding Sportsmen and Extracurricular Scholarship

50% waiver in tuition fee for outstanding sportsman/women having national color or extracurricular activities with 65% marks or equivalent in Intermediate or Graduation. (10 seats)

*During the course of study, the student admitted on sport basis will be exempted from the condition of maintenance of minimum CGPA; however the participant will have to achieve the degree completion requirements.
